I have always mailed by bills at the Briargate Branch post office. This past month one mail piece took 13 days for delivery within Colorado Springs. I have several bills that were received late and therefore I must pay late fees. I mailed my medication prescriptions on December 10th with postage, it is presumed lost. My car insurance bill was mailed 1/16. It is presumed lost. My house payment was mailed on 1/6 and it was not received by the mortgate company until 1/19. With my prescriptions lost, I have gone without needed medications, must now go back to the doctor's office for new prescriptions, which I will have them fax instead of mail. I am considering bill pay through my checking account because of the great delay in mail delivery, plus lost bills. I have always dropped my mail at the Briargate PO because it is on my to and from work, but and upset as to the problems I have experienced. (Hide)
