We are very limited in our delivery choices in East Naples (951 and 41). Lorenzo's is basically the only place that delivers. When we first moved here, a year ago, Lorenzo was attentive, made sure the delivery arrived on time, correct, and hot. But over the past year it's gone down hill and tonight was the end. We ordered 2 very simple dishes (we ordered for delivery not because we're lazy but because we're quite sick) We ordered a Gyros (and we said nothing but the pita and the meat) and spaghetti with meatsauce and cheese melted on top. We called at 5:30 and he said an hour and 15 minutes. Quite a long wait, but ok. At 7 we called and they said it was on the way to our house. At 7:45 we called back to cancel (I mean, we planned on eating at 6:30) and he said it was too late. The driver was "at our gate". Hmmm, I live a mile from the guardhouse. At 8:15 I called FUMING! He would not comp us, said they fell behind and that was that. BAD FOOD-BAD SERVICE no comp! (Hide)
