I had occasion to spend 5 weeks in Seattle with my wife on a medical visit and we stayed at the Baroness Hotel and loved it. Due to the number of medical guests we ended up spending the first night in a double queen room but they moved us into a single queen the next day. Their policy of catering to medical guests really helped when we found we needed to stay an extra week and didn't have to change rooms. The kitchenette allowed us to prepare our own meals and thanks to the friendly staff it wasn't long before our large and comfortable room felt like home. There were lots of nearby options for dinning and shopping and we were able to turn a stressful situation into a mini vacation thanks to how comfortable we felt to be back "home" after a busy day in Seattle. The Baroness is by no means an upscale hotel but it is clean and well kept and quite reasonably priced. (Hide)
