In January 2007 I walked through the doors of A Social Affair Dance Studio (Mandarin) and signed up for the introductory offer. The offered included three private lessons, two group classes and a Friday night dance. Not being musically inclined, which means I don't have rhythm, I decided to take the next level called the Mix and Mingle and continued taking lessons throughout the year. 2007 was filled with personal challenges, but I didn't quit, and with the instructors encouragement and professionalism I now feel comfortable enough to accept a dance with confidence. As a bonus, I've met a lot of people (students) from different walks of life that made this adventure even more fun. Hope to see you at the Friday night dance.... (Hide)
