Description:
About Us:
Inland Hills Church is a non-denominational, Bible-believing Christian church. The church family itself is made up of people from all kinds of religious backgrounds (Baptist, Catholic, etc.), as well as no church background.

Beliefs:
The basis of our belief is the Bible, uniquely inspired by God, without error, and the final authority on all matters upon which it bears. As the Bible teaches, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons&mdash, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit&mdash, each possessing all the attributes of Deity.

God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God&rsquo, s saving grace to end our alienation from God. Salvation comes only through God&rsquo, s saving grace&mdash, not human effort&mdash, and must be received personally by repentance and faith.

Jesus Christ, second person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the cross as our substitute. This accomplishes salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between us and God. He will return to earth to consummate history.

The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service. The church&rsquo, s role is to glorify God and serve those in need. At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and judgment. Those forgiven through Christ will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.

History:
Inland Hills Church started in 1987 as a vision in the heart of Dave Stoecklein while in seminary. God began planting in him the dream of a truly relevant church that would reach people for the cause of Christ. The spark was ignited and the flame increased as Dave shared the dream with his friends, Rick and Kevyn Horton. They wanted to make church make sense to non-church people who were seeking.

In 1990, the plans were drafted and a team of four families from Chino First Assembly, where Dave served as Associate Pastor, was formed. The team gathered, prayed, and prepared for one year to start a church in Chino Hills. Using a rented facility, Ayala High School, the church was launched on February 3, 1991. A surprising 266 people attended the first service, putting the dedicated team in tears. The newly formed church continued to grow. In eight years, the church has grown to over 1,300 attendees. Faced with &ldquo, no room to grow&rdquo, problems, the church rallied together to purchase land to build a church home.
