Mission Statement
This statement is the slogan of the First Baptist Church of Muscle Shoals. God has commanded us in His Word to take the Gospel into all the world, and He has opened doors for us to minister in many countries through career missionaries, short-term trips, leadership training conferences, and the Anchored in TruthTM broadcasts.
The world is brought to us each year during our World Impact Conference, which God has used to challenge our members to be more personally involved in missions. The First Baptist family financially supports more than 20 missionary families on the mission field and numerous agencies and institutions including the Cooperative Program, the North American Mission Board, and the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
We are excited to see God expand our mission work as we partner with HeartCry Missionary Society, whose efforts extend into more than 12 countries worldwide by supporting more than 50 indigenous missionaries.
