(More) I went to Charles County Veterinary Hospital for the first time on 4/11/2013, and I was impressed! It was difficult to find an avian vet on short notice, but CCVH gave me an appointment as soon as I could get there. Dr. Miller checked my bird over after a night fright. However, he diagnosed a much more serious issue, crop impaction. Right away, he emptied my bird's crop, administered two shots of antibiotics, and gave me more antibiotic drops to administer at home. When I came to CCVH, my cockatiel could barely steady himself on the ground, much less a perch. Now, he's singing and climbing around again! Dr. Miller even gave me a tour of the back--great space, clean, and well-maintained. He showed me the operating room, digital x-ray, and a grooming station as well, all top-notch. You cannot beat the personable service, quick and accurate diagnosis, or prices! (All that for only about $100!) (Hide)

So over the last 20 years he has cared for 3 cats and 7 dogs in our family. My dads doberman almost died due to a back injury and Dr. Miller helped save her life. My dog Roxy has severe allergies and he worked tirelessly with me to figure out the source. She is on weekly allergy shots and is stable. He is a no non-sense Doctor who will give it to you straight. He tells you the problem, he tells you your options and makes everything so easy for you. He calls you himself with lab results and it really shows how much he cares. I will never take my animals to any other doctor. It is always to get an appointment and the office staff is so nice and friendly. I wish I had more room to write a 10 page review about how much I appreciate Dr. Miller and his staff for keeping my furbabies healthy and happy. (Hide)

Not only had he heard of Bologenese, he advised me of all the issues Bologenes face medically and talked to me in detail about how to care for these very unusual dogs. I trusted him immediately. I have seen that all of his observations about Bologenese were correct and he has taken excellent care of my dogs. He has dealt multiple very unusual health issues and been very patient with me, a first time dog owner, as I have learned how to take care of them. I love his staff also. They are professional and clearly love each animal that walks through the door.
