Join Steinhilber's for dinner on any occasion.OUR HISTORY"After working for years in the restaurant business, Robert Steinhibler decided to get away from Norfolk's "city life" and moved to the country. It was 1935 when he purchased the site of the Lynnhaven Golf & Country Club on the Lynnhaven River. Thalia Acres, as it came to be known, emerged as a retreat for horseback riding, canoeing & hiking. "Steiny" was clearly missed in the restaurant world and friends soon convinced him to return to the business. In 1937, building on the original foundation of the club house he personally began the construction of the present main dining room. In 1939, after marrying, Marion Eley, he opened his doors to what has become one of the oldest family owned and operated restaurants in Virginia, Steinhibler's Thalia Acres Inn. Continuing his commitment to service, quality & tradition, is his daughter Jeanna and grandson, Brady.

The setting is delightful, the staff is efficient and the food is divine. It is always a day to celebrate when you dine at Steinhilber's.

I have been to Steinhilber's quite a few times and they have never disappointed me. My family and I have enjoyed each entree we have tried.
