Just had a pram collected from Manchester and delivered to Northants in less than 3 hours. Excellent service arrived at exactly the time they said it would. Can not praise them enough. Thank you - brilliant service ~ Moo

(More) uShip.com offers a wonderful service concept but is a terrible company. They very efficiently collected my money but then just disappeared. All of the promises of customer service are empty. I sent them several emails asking questions and looking for guidance in dealing with the service provider and never even got an acknowledgment. Like I said this is a great concept but a terrible and maybe even illegal execution. Most if not all of the service providers have their own websites and will give you an instant quote. So, don't waste your money on uShip.com you'll never get anything out of them. (Hide)

(More) Uship lies to the shippers by telling them they send a deposit to the service provider, when in fact, they keep the deposit. It makes the service providers look bad when they say they do not get the deposit. The shipper does not know who to believe! Why don't they just tell the truth? Nobody expects them to be doing it for free. Also, they do NOTHING for the shipper or the service provider if there is any kind of problem. They don't get involved at all! (Hide)

(More) great idea until the service provider (mover) fails to perform. Then all you get from UShip is a bunch of "we're looking into it" emails and no one at UShip who will pick up the phone and discuss the matter with you. UShip collects a deposit from you for the shipper and a fee for themselves and apparently does not do anything to insure that the service providers(moving companies) are reputable and have the correct permits and licenses to move. My things were picked up in Lubbock by A1American Movers and never delivered to Denver. I now consider them stolen and have contacted TX Dept of Transportation and the Lubbock Police. UShip is a good way to find moving companies but don't count on UShip to help you if you have problems. Look up A1American Movers under the UShip website to see how many UShip customers had problems with A1American before UShip removed them from membership. (Hide)
