I have used them several times for some home renovation / repair projects in the last couple years and have been very satisfied for several reasons. First of all, their quotes seemed reasonable. This was important in the weak economy we have seen. Most importantly, their concern for customer needs and quick response to issues is what led to repeat business. Return phone calls or response to email was usually no more than a couple hours. There was one instance when I got a return call on the weekend from a family event that was out of state and another when they came out to my house on a Sunday afternoon for an unplanned concern. From the start, Scotese Builders provided the expertise required in Architectural Design and Drawings, obtaining Demolition permits for the old house, contracting with reputable sub-contractors to perform site prep, all the way through construction and closing. Their advice was invaluable in helping me and my wife with recommendations on everything from carpet to granite countertop to paint and bathroom fixture suppliers. Everything was done quickly and professionally and we were able to move back into our new home in time for Christmas. They have great attention to detail, project planning skills with a master craftsmen finish! They finished our vaulted ceiling in the family room in a cherry stained, beaded knotty pine tongue and grooved boards with recessed lighting and it looks wonderful! Best of all, with the insulation they installed, we used 90 gallons less of heating oil this past harsh winter (2011) than the previous mild winter.
