Had them come out for a standard service call, advertised price, $54. Jerry charged me much more. Jerry showed me the rates in the book. They were much higher than the advertised rate. He first mentioned that adding... (More) Jerry showed me the rates in the book. They were much higher than the advertised rate. He first mentioned that adding additional refrigerant would cost about $15 a can. The description of service was very general, so that one could not tell what he checked that was included in the $54 service fee and what was extra. He tested the unit, added the freon, and ended up charging me $171. I have to admit, I felt duped, and upon questioning about the difference in the rates, he again brought the rate book and show me where all these little "tests" he made somehow added up. I won't use their service again. (Hide)

(More) We tried our best to explain to the customer the work necessary to make the unit operate and the charges that applied. The customer could not understand. They decided to perform the repairs and the unit works great for the price quoted. The quoted price was very fair and within industry standards. (Hide)
