The installation crew did an excellent job. They were exceptionally knowledgeable and courteous. The crew was neat and clean and thoroughly cleaned up after finishing. I give them 5 star rating, because what I feel is that, Mr. Mike Lucas is a very professional and an honest business man. His team are very well trained professionals. They worked hard and quick. They clean working place everyday and move all trash out with them. This project is scheduled for 7 days, but they finished one day ahead schedule. To my family, this is a major project, it is cost very high, but the price they quote is reasonable, the key is the quality of their work. The system is running well now,(even not totally finished, I need cover the new duct system, this is not their part of work.) hope it can last long for years to come. Lucas gave us a good deal on a new system (which we verified with an estimate from another company), and had it installed three days later, which seems almost miraculous at this time of year (August 3rd). The best part was that the whole time my wife and I were dealing with them, from Doug, who came out to diagnose our problem and gave us the estimates, to Mike Lucas, who we worked out the details with, to Cody and Tony, who did the installation, we always felt like we were dealing with honorable people whom we could trust, and we haven't been let down. Not to mention the fact that Doug, Cody, and Tony were collectively punctual, courteous, friendly, and the work they did was done with obvious attention to detail, including fixing some minor issues from the previous installation that weren't their problem, but just made things better for us. I decided that there was no way I was going to try & fix an 8 year old unit. Called 3 contractors based on reviews. CB Lucas was the one that showed up in a reasonable amount of time to check it out. Fair prices on 3 options for the whole Kit & Kaboodle. Cody & Chris showed up 08:30 on the prescribed day & worked straight through until the Outdoor Unit, Coil, Furnace & Thermostat were installed & a previously damage suction line was repaired. Pulled the old units, cleaned up & showed me how to use it by 14:45. The Trane Unit brought the house from 94 to a dehumidified 81 in time to greet the wife home from work at 17:30. She's happy! Troy was great and he led the team professionally all day overcoming several obstacles. And that day extended into a VERY long day. Considering the install of A/C, Furnace, Humidifier, Media cleaner, attic fan, and significant duct work, I was impressed with the attention to detail all day! Greg the plumber was fantastic. When the water heater did not fit thru the doorway, Greg broke out his carpentry skills and removed the entire doorjamb AND replaced it with NO damage. The focus on getting the work done right far outweighed the desire to get home early for this entire team. They stayed late and cleaned up superbly. Lucky for me it was not too cold and I did not have to make a decision on the spot. I was able to call several companies, have them come out and give me estimates. CB Lucas gave me BY FAR the best price and provided great service. My house is quite large and only has 1 zone heat, they recommended for just a little more they could work with the damper system, install additional dampers and give me another zone upstairs with another thermostat. Boy, am I glad they suggested that to me. This should save me quite a bit in my utility bills and I love it. The technician was here when they said, was very professional and had the system installed with no problems. They also suggested for just a little more, and I mean little, that I could upgrade the warranty to 10 years part and labor. That was a no brainer to me. They responded within 24 hours to our crisis during a hot summer day recently. They measured, evaluated and within 3 business days we had a new heat pump, air handler and thermostat installed at a cost lower when compared with 3 other companies. The service techs was professional and knowledgable. They were friendly and took time to answer questions. My thanks to CB Lucas Co and the guys that came out (V & J). I would recommend to anyone experiencing air conditioning problems and needing to replace a unit to call these folks. My neighbors came over and I passed along CB Lucas information to them as they are in need of upgrading old heat pumps. My wife and I were very pleased. (Hide)

We thought just the A/C would not function. We found out how important it was to get new system when we received our HUGE electric bill. Owner was not apologetic.
